Now available: Moderna COVID Vaccine for Under 3 years

We are excited to start offering the Updated Moderna (2023-2024 Formula) COVID Vaccine!

We will begin by offering it to children under 3 years of age since they are the highest risk for severe illness with COVID and have few (if any) other places to get the vaccine. Children are eligible for the COVID vaccine starting at 6 months of age.

We will have a vaccine clinic on Tuesday October 17 from 1-5 pm for this vaccine only. Please call our office to schedule your child, it is by appointment only, we cannot accommodate walk-ins.

If your child has had a previous primary series (2 doses Moderna or 3 doses Pfizer) the recommendation is for him/her to get this updated dose now. If your child has never been vaccinated for COVID, then they will be fully vaccinated after 2 doses of this updated Moderna vaccine. We will offer a second clinic at the appropriate interval (4-8 weeks later) for children who need the second dose.

We are also offering the updated Moderna COVID vaccine at well visits for children under 3 years old.
