Well Visits

We follow the recommended schedule of preventative health visits from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Please see the schedule below.

To allow parents with sick children to get through the phone lines quickly, we ask that you please call to make checkup appointments after 10:00 am Monday through Friday.  We encourage parents of school age children and adolescents to make checkup appointments well in advance, especially if you plan on coming in during the spring and summer months.

At each well visit we will start by measuring your child’s weight and length (and head circumference if under age 2 years). We will review nutrition, sleep and development. These topics vary a bit depending on age, but an age appropriate review of these topics and additional age-specific discussions. Your provider will answer any questions that the family has. And, we will complete a complete physical exam of your child. Below is a review of the other tests, vaccines and procedures we complete at each of the visits.
