Nutrition Counseling

We are pleased to offer nutrition counseling in our office with an experienced, registered dietician-nutritionist, Abby Greenspun. Abby can review your child’s nutrition history and provide individual education and personalized suggestions. Abby’s range of experience includes picky eaters, eating disorder awareness and prevention, supermarket shopping, sports nutrition, nutrition for vegetarians and obesity prevention.

Abby’s Experience

Abby has more than 15 years of experience providing nutrition counseling for adults and children. Abby received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Clark University and a Master of Science degree in nutrition from Hunter College. Abby’s areas of specialization include weight management, digestive disorders, diabetes, heart disease and rheumatic disorders. She has consulted on numerous nutrition books and served four years as a member of the Food Service Advisory Committee for the Westport School District. Abby is a member of the American Dietetic Association and is a Connecticut-certified dietician-nutritionist.

Abby’s Hours and How to Make an Appointment

Abby is available for one-hour consultations in our office every other Tuesday from noon to 6:00 pm, and one Saturday morning a month. (Other hours can be arranged; please let us know when scheduling.) To schedule an appointment please talk to your doctor or physician assistant.
