Anne Mauk, PA-C
My professional life has always been involved with children. Starting out as an English and Art teacher of middle and high school students, I made a career change to the medical field and after four years of teaching I became a Physician’s Assistant. After a brief time with a Family Practice, I happily concentrated in the Pediatric field at Norwalk Hospital. Susan Amster taught me in-patient Pediatrics and Neonatal Medicine at Norwalk Hosptial, where I went on to stay for 23 years. Ironically I am now using my skills, again with Susan’s guidance and partnership, although this time in out-patient, rather than in-patient Pediatrics. It is exciting for me to join Willows Pediatrics and assist in the care and development of children of all ages. As a mother of three grown children, one being chronically ill, I feel I can empathize with the worries all parents have in keeping their children healthy and safe.
Anne graduated with a BA from Pitzer College in Claremont, California. She completed her Teaching Certification at the University of Denver, Denver, CO and her Pre-medical courses at University of Colorado, Denver, CO.
