Please note we are administering both the injectable flu vaccine and the nasal Flumist during the clinic times listed below.
Please go to this page on our website to familiarize yourself with the two types of flu preparations available to your child(ren), and the criteria for using each. Of course, we will have staff available to assist you in making that decision if you are unsure when you are here.
You may also download the WILLOWS INJECTABLE FLU SHOT ADMINISTRATION SHEET, or THE WILLOWS NASAL FLUMIST ADMINISTRATION SHEET. Please fill out the appropriate sheet AND BRING IT WITH YOU WHEN YOU COME FOR YOUR FLU VACCINE. (Remember: if someone other than a parent/guardian is bringing a child in for the flu vaccine, a written note giving permission to give the vaccine, signed by a parent, will be required to allow for administration.
Please Note: Due to the Connecticut state mandated vaccine program, we are now REQUIRED to obtain ALL flu vaccine for children under age five from the state, rather than from private suppliers. This presents a challenge, because with Connecticut state supplied vaccine we have less control over when and how much vaccine we receive. Thus, we suggest not delaying bringing in your children in.
