We want to share this message from Dr. Peter Czuczka as he embarks on his next steps, and let you know what the future holds for Willows Pediatrics.
It is with mixed emotions that I am writing to share plans of my retirement beginning December 31, 2017.
I have had the deep privilege of serving the Fairfield County community for over 44 years. From celebrating the happiest moments together, welcoming a new baby into your families, to the ultimate heartache of grieving a loss together – and each earache, stomach bug, and strep throat in between – it has been a true privilege to serve as your pediatrician. I am confident about my decision to “hang up my stethoscope” because the Willows team is as strong as ever. My fellow physicians and physician assistants are among the best and most dedicated health professionals I have ever known. They and their staff will ensure a smooth transition for you and your children.
We are very excited to welcome a new physician starting this July. Lauren Allison grew up in Redding, CT and graduated from Wellesley College summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She then attended the Dartmouth School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital. Lauren is intelligent, compassionate and very personable; she will be a tremendous addition to Willows. If you have any questions about which Willows doctor is right for you and your children, please do not hesitate to call.
Thank you for entrusting the care of your children to me and teaching me to be a better doctor and person. I look forward to seeing you in the community in future years, and I wish you all good health and much happiness.
Peter Czuczka, MD
